Empowering Change Through Giving

Our approach to Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, we reflect on our commitment to creating social and environmental change and highlight the exceptional organizations we've supported.

Beyond our work as shareholder advocates, we dedicate 1% of our revenue to impact-driven organizations, match employee donations, and provide paid volunteer time. Our approach to giving prioritizes organizations that empower marginalized communities and foster lasting change.

Organizations We Champion Through Giving

This year, we focused our giving on advancing racial, ethnic, and gender equity. Organizations we proudly champion include:

In addition to the organizations mentioned above, other groups whose work we’ve been fortunate to support include:

Additionally, many of our staff channel their expertise into supporting organizations that make an impact in and beyond their own communities. For example, Marcela Pinilla, director of sustainable investing, serves on the Sustainable Stewardship Committee for Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management (Mass PRIM), advising the board. She also serves on the advisory board of The Migration and Climate Adaptation & Finance Working Group, who empower investors to be a voice for rational, sustainable migration policy, and advocate for migration as an important climate adaptation tool. Additionally, Marcela is a board member of the New York Foundation, a critical supporter of community organizing and grassroots advocacy in New York City.

We're always on the lookout for new organizations to champion - let us know about the ones you admire by emailing us.
