Philip HergelSenior Quantitative Analyst Philip currently provides the quantitative modeling inputs which help to drive the asset, country and sector allocation decisions within our portfolios. Previously, Philip spent 12 years with BCA Research (formerly the Bank Credit Analyst), a well known and respected independent investment research and advisory firm, where he was responsible for their econometric modeling efforts. Philip holds an undergraduate degree in Statistics and an M.A. in Economics from Concordia University in Montreal. Being the father of three young children, much of Philip’s time outside of the office is spent teaching, coaching or simply watching sports, most often swimming, skiing, or rugby. Philip also takes advantage of time spent with his children to impart on them his own strong feelings towards the necessity of promoting social justice and equality. |
